En la ciudad de Dos Hermanas, provincia de Sevilla, España. Se celebrará por primera vez una muestra internacional en la que se reunirán acuarelistas de diversos países, todos ellos acuarelistas de renombre, con un amplio y dilatado curriculum.
En total podremos ver obra de 40 artistas, de Estados Unidos, Francia, Gran Bretaña, Bélgica, Japón, Uruguay, Venezuela, Argentina, Perú, India, Turquia, y una representación de lo que se hace en distintas ciudades de España en el campo de la acuarela.
Con esta muestra se pretende por un lado fomentar la técnica de la acuarela y por otro dar a conocer el trabajo que se realiza por los diversos acuarelistas profesionales en el mundo, reuniendo en un mismo espacio expositivo obra de variada temática y estilos. Podremos ver obras abstractas, figurativas, realistas que representan paisajes, retratos, bodegones, escenas urbanas o imagenes inventadas, todo ello con un tratamiento diferente y personal que refleja el estilo de cada uno de los artistas que participan.
La muestra se inaugurará el 20 de septiembre de 2012 y durará hasta el 28 de Octubre de 2012, el espacio elegido para ello es la Sala de exposiciones La Almona, pertenecientes al Ayuntamiento de Dos Hermanas.

In the city of Dos
Hermanas, located in Sevilla, Spain, The First International
Exhibition of Watercolor will be held. Well-known watercolorists
from different countries will converge in this exhibition.
Works of art from 40
artist from USA, France, Great Britain, Belgium, Japan, Uruguay,
Venezuela, Argentina, Peru, India, Turkey and different cities of
Spain can be seen.
This
exhibition pretends to encourage the watercolor technique and become
known the work of many professional watercolorists all over the
world. For these reasons, we will meet works with different subjects
and styles in the same Exhibition Hall. Abstract, figurative, realist
watercolors showing landscapes, portraits, still lives, daily lives
or imagined scenes. Watercolors which capture the style of each
watercolorists.
The
Exhibition curator, Mª José Barrera Garrido, also works the
watercolor technique and has been looking forward to gathering
watercolorists from different countries in the same place for a long
time. This project has taken a long time of organization and
management and it could not be without the collaboration
of the participating artists, the sponsors and above all the Culture
Department of the City Council of Dos Hermanas.
The
date of the Exhibition will be from September 20 to October 28, 2012,
in the Exhibition Hall “The Almona” in the City Hall of Dos
Hermanas, Seville.
